Movies Scheduled for the Week of 3/6 - 3/12

The Dallas International Film Festival will be starting at the end of March, and it's time to put our love of movies to work by volunteering. This is a great chance to earn vouchers so you can attend their full slate of films and meet filmmakers, actors, and show them some Big "D" love.

The Volunteer Orientation dates this year are:

Saturday, March 12th 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Saturday, March 19th 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: Texas Theatre, 231 W. Jefferson Blvd Oak Cliff, Dallas, TX 75208

So you wrote a letter to the group and you are wondering why it didn't show up. It's probably because it didn't meet the criteria for allowable posts. If we tell you there's a contest to enter to win a pass. You go the link provided or you email someone jumping through all the hoops you need to do to obtain that pass. What you don't do is send a message to the group asking for that pass. Nope, not going to work and you post is immediately deleted. Harsh, perhaps, but we have over 1200 people subscribed here, and we all pretty much have to do what we got to do, and asking group to do it for you isn't going to fly.

And really, how much effort does it take to check that return address before hitting send? Make sure it's going to the person intended, because if it's going to the group...yep...Delete!
